January 2020. On my last visit to my hometown before the pandemic struck, an old friend and former music partner, Gianluca Lo Presti, invited Emilio Albertoni and myself to dinner. He had recently lost his father, and a new album dedicated to reflecting on their time together was in the works. The idea included an album of original songs, and a companion EP of remixes of the same material, done by friends and former collaborators.
Gianluca asked us to choose a song to our liking and produce a remix together. We had complete creative freedom, and several months at our disposal. After listening, in isolation, to an early demo of the album, we both selected the same song: 'Non so chi sei' (“I don’t know you”).
Included in the new EP “Aperture”, “Non sai chi sono” is our remix.

Gennaio 2020. Durante l'ultima visita alla mia città natale prima della pandemia, l'amico e partner musicale di vecchia data Gianluca Lo Presti, invitò me ed Emilio Albertoni a cena. Avendo da poco perso il padre, stava lavorando a un album dedicato a lui. La sua idea includeva un album di brani originali e un EP "gemello" con remix delle stesse canzoni realizzati da amici e vecchi collaboratori.
Gianluca ci chiese di scegliere la canzone che preferivamo e produrre un remix assieme. Avendo completa libertà creativa, e diversi mesi a disposizione, Emilio e io siamo partiti subito con il piede giusto, ascoltando le prime demo dell'album ognuno per conto proprio ma decidendo per la stessa canzone: "Non so chi sei".
Incluso nel nuovo EP “Aperture”, “Non sai chi sono” è il nostro remix.
